WASHINGTON, DC – Make Room’s Ali Solis Celebrates Appointment of Marietta Rodriguez as Incoming President and CEO of NeighborWorks America
NeighborWorks America named Marietta Rodriguez as their new incoming President and CEO yesterday after an extensive search and Ali Solis, Make Room President and CEO, couldn’t be happier for her longtime friend and colleague.
“Marietta is an exceptional choice to lead NeighborWorks America. I am confident she will continue to raise the bar of success in her new role, as she’s done for the past twenty years at the organization,” Solis said. “Not only is she an expert on affordable housing, she is innovative and has successfully steered the ship on several concepts to make them a reality and see them through to fruition as real solutions to the affordable housing shortage in America. Congratulations Marietta!”
Rodriguez will begin her new role on August 13, replacing Jeffrey Bryson, who has been serving as Interim President and CEO since September. Bryson will remain on board for a brief transition period until August 17, when he plans to retire.
No stranger to NeighborWorks America, Rodriguez has been with the organization for twenty years and most recently worked as Interim Senior Vice President for National Initiatives.
In a statement released by NeighborWorks America, Rodriguez said, “Together, we can empower more individuals, create more opportunities and transform more communities.”
